Notifying Your Insurance 
We advise that you notify your insurance company about your colour change wrap in advance, all insurers are different, and it is important that you are covered. If you are booking in for a full-colour change wrap, you must fill out the new colour of your vehicle on your V5C registration document only once it is complete. Please ask a member of staff how to do this if you are unsure.


Vehicle Condition
The condition of a vehicle’s body/paintwork is very important to us, non-standard resprays and defects such as rust or crash damage can have a direct impact on the quality and durability of your wrap. If any of these issues are present, it’s your responsibility to inform our staff about these issues. Our team will inspect your vehicle on delivery and make a note of any damage before works commence. We are happy to discuss options for repairing any minor defects such as stone chips and small dents if required.


Vehicle Delivery 
We ask that you wash your vehicle within 24 hours of delivering it to our shop, only light road dirt and grime is acceptable. Failure to drop your vehicle off in a clean state will result in an additional cleaning charge of £50 added to the final bill. Don’t worry; we don’t expect it to be spotless. 


Ceramic / Wax Coatings
Any coatings such as ceramic or wax coatings must be removed before the wrapping process, please notify a member of staff if your vehicle has undergone any of these treatments as it will effect how the vinyl takes to your paint. We can also organise the removal of wax or ceramic coatings.


Pricing 
All our standard prices for colour change wraps are based on the exterior only, from the outside, your car will appear a different colour entirely with the doors and boot closed. However, when the doors are opened, you will be able to see the original paint colour. If you want to hide the original colour inside the doors or even boot, please ask about pricing to include door shuts/returns in your colour change wrap. Although we do our best to ensure the best finish possible, it’s not a paint job. 


The Auto-Skins Environment 
Our environment is always kept clean, and we pay great attention to preparing customers vehicles as thoroughly and safely as we can. Even with the high level of care put into cleaning, we cannot guarantee that there will be zero contamination as there are particles of dust in the air we breathe. We rarely experience a level of contamination that is noticeable as we are always aiming for the best possible finish every time.


Warranties 
There are many factors to consider when providing warranties on a wrap, and we can only control what happens in our shop and make sure we are honest about what to expect. On factory standard paintwork, we offer a six-month warranty on our installation. Our warranty covers you in case we have made any mistakes that result in failure or lifting of the vinyl. It does not cover you against damage caused by external forces such as wear and tear, vandalism, stone chips or poor washing techniques!

Any problems due to us making a mistake will be visible within weeks of the wrap being complete. We will replace and repair any issues free of charge. Any damage caused externally will not be covered under warranty and panels can be replaced at our standard rates. 

You can expect a 5-7 year life span on your wrap when applied to factory standard paintwork and looked after correctly.


Deposits
We require a 50% deposit to confirm any booking, this covers material purchase and is non-refundable. If you need to change the date of your booking, we will always try to re-arrange your booking at no cost as long as we receive notice, please try to let us know 48 hours in advance.


Timeframe
Most full-colour change wraps take between 3-4 days depending on the vehicle and work being carried out. We may ask to take delivery of a vehicle the day before to begin preparation.


Aftercare
We will provide aftercare information on the collection of your vehicle and recommend the products and techniques that work best for us. Maintaining your wrap is different to paint, it’s important to follow our advice if you want to get the most out of the wrap and keep it looking good for 5-7 years. 

If you want to protect your wrap, make cleaning easier and enhance its appearance, we offer ceramic coatings and clear paint protection film. Both of which can be applied on top of your wrap. Please ask us for pricing and further details.


Wrap Removal 
All our wraps are designed to be removed from factory standard paintwork and leave no damage to the original paintwork.

Never attempt to remove the wrap yourself, it will require professional attention to ensure no damage is caused to the vehicle’s paintwork or surrounding trims. We are not liable for any damage caused to a vehicle if a wrap is removed elsewhere. Please ask a member of staff about pricing on wrap removal. In the circumstances where we remove a wrap applied by another company, we will not be liable for any damage underneath the vinyl. We will document and take photos of everything we find.
